    can you guys help out a noob here.

    im not really sure if this is where this belongs so i apologize if its not. i recently got my 05 wrx 5 speed and since then have installed a CAI and cat back exhaust. im racing my buddys 06 mustang v6 which has long tube headers, CAI, x-piped dual exhaust, and a diablo sport reflashed ecu. im wondering if you guys think i stand a chance or am i going to be able to beat this guy.

    im speaking about a drag race, i may be new to this forum and wrx's but im not new to racing. im pretty positive drag racing is infact a motor sport. also the layout of this forum was about 5000 times diferent than any of the forums i frequent and was lucky to find this one.

    well what do you think of my situation? im figuring it will be pretty close, but im wondering what people with more expirence with these cars think.

    You should be able to handle that car easily if you're a competent driver.......and we all think we are. Rev it up to 6K and drop the clutch. You'll be through the intersection before he blinks and pulling him from then on.
