Who else foresaw Dave Mirra of all people coming out of the woodwork and doing as well as he did??
He was neck and neck with Foust until he hit the wall coming off the jump.
It looks like he locked up the brakes before he even tried cut it back.
Congratulations to Travis Pastrana. Now if he really wants to test his driving skills, he needs to find a sponsor and enter the WRC already. He doesn't want to be the 'Danica Patrick' of rally racing (i.e. above average driver, but not champion quality).

I would expect that since he's been driving for the Subaru US rally team, he would be a candidate to be a driver for the Subaru WRC team. In fact, I think there were rumors that he had a chance at that a while back.

I wish he would hurry up and get to it. I'm kinda excited to see a U.S. driver in the WRC.
But he better have his **** together. He'll be going up against veterans like Sebastian Loeb and Petter Solberg who are surgeons behind the wheel of a rally car.

2007 he did:
PWRC Mexico
PWRC Wales GB

2008 PWRC Drivers Championship: he's listed at #33
PWRC Drivers Championship

Sweden - did not enter
Argentina - Retired
Greece - 13th
Turkey - did not enter but was listed ?
Finland - did not enter
New Zealand - Ken Block is entered but Travis is not on the entry list

That rally was pretty intense. I watched the whole thing on tv. That Evo crash though I was jumping up & down in my chair cheering.

I know, right! I want to see more of his talent behind the wheel of a rally car. He's one of my favorite BMXers.

He's a good guy and quite down to Earth. I rode with him about 10 years ago. I'm glad to see he had some good runs with this. I hope he can improve as far as true stage rallies are concerned.
