    Has any one raced a Z32 300zx?

Why would I waste my time or my fuel?

That is like asking if I have ever beat up a retarded seven year old girl with pig-tails.

O.K. After seeing your statement, I have seen the error of my evil and childish ways.
I vow to cease the crutch of life that has kept me down in the dumps for this seeming eternity.
I will stop relying on my car from this time forward!

But please advise- how should I go about this ever so delicate decision to finally step up and become a man?
Any advice from your cornucopia of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

in no way am i dissing subaru, there are alot of drivers that i respect, but alot of the AWD drivers i've met are arrogant a$$holes, and the only reason some of them are fast is because of the car.the guy in question is one of those people, couldnt shift at all. now answering on what i drive,if u couldn't tell by my SN,a `88 Mr2,but ive driven alot of cars ranging from FF,AWD,FR,and MR,all n/a,and i have made them pretty fast,STOCK.Just don't rely on the car,it takes the fun out..

    Yeah! Definitely!
Most of us, (mainly me), we don't know JACK S**T about driving, racing, or really any performance of any kind. We actually have this "drag race" area on this forum as an excuse. We eagerly await for any way to speak with and gain knowledge and experience from drivers that really know.
And from your obvious experience, you could help us out. I bet you have driven some quick 1/4 mile cars.

dude,i dont know if your being sarcastic or what, but i don't drag, its about as appeling to me as nascar, but i respect those that do,its just not my cup of tea.Now what i do enjoy is rally,auto-x,time attack, and drifting. The first 3 of those is where i think AWDs belong, flying through dirt and three wheeling through a tight road course, hell yeah, but not drag. But even though,i just wanted to know if that guy was on here, and yall start dissing my buddys car, everyone has their preferance....

WOW! What an error on my part. Egg all over my face.
    Really sorry about that one.
I figured since this was posted under the forum heading of "Motorsports talk" and the sub-heading of "Drag racing" that there may have been reference to - - - *wait for it* - - - 'Drag Racing'. I will do my best not to automatically make that connection again.
But I do love to hear from real drag racers that can give me knowledge and wisdom. Cuz' that is what I want to be some day. A REAL drag racer. But I understand- to each his own.
    Peace out, YO!

after rereading this, the scooby musta reamed the nissan.. LOL

having owned 2 Z32s (90 NA, 91 Stg5 Stillen TT), they are no slouch, even in stock form..

however, they aren't high on the traction list.

my buddy has a nicely sorted 300zx tt I wouldn't even think about racing him in a straight line, I'd probably enjoy a short lived jump from the line but I'd be looking at a Nissan symbol on the trunk the rest of the way

at the track (not the drag strip ) I fair a lot better, he has some brake issues to still sort out (fast + heavy = tough on brakes!) though
