hope travis and derek are ok after they rolled on Asaph !

Mark Williams, running the Planet Motorsports’ Open Class Subaru “classic” STI (GC-chassis for the Subaru fans), said he wasn’t able to run Stage 4 due to Travis’ crash shutting down the stage. He has, however, really enjoyed the latter stages and the roads in general. This is his first time running STPR

ken stopped to talk to Marshalls ! (at time we didnt know what had happened but assumed someone had a "off")
although you would have thought he would have moved off the racing line as a minute or so later another couple cars came into the corner! luckily no one hit imho the Marshalls further up from the corner should have been flagging the next cars to slow down.

they absolutely should have been slowing the cars down ahead of a car stopped on stage...no humble opinion needed. thanks for the pics! that's funny that block stopped on stage to chat, even if it was turned into a transit.

They turned Asaph into a transit because of Travis's crash, right?

yup. he rolled twice. and then there was a small engine fire after they stopped. i was spectating at an intersection control that had no ham radio, but as soon as we saw cars coming through slowly with their helmets off, we left and started heading towards the next stage we planned to catch.

I have heard from a few sources that they definitely rolled more than twice. A Co-driver for a team told me they tried to get out of the car and figure out how many times they rolled and it was at least 3 or 4. Unfortunately after their accident, Travis' co-driver was hit by a car. I am not sure if he was in the WRX or not when he was hit, but a few people told me he was injured.

Travis seemed very frustrated when I talked to him the night before. Block also seemed very unhappy with the car and they both had rear suspension failures on day 1. I have heard they might switch back to Mac Pherson struts instead of the new suspension set-up.
