what are the best tires for drag

I've draged FWD cars before and obviously know to use radials. On a AWD subaru what are the best tires to use for drag racing.

Forget what you know about tires and dragging as it is not relative to a WRX and dragging.

You want the tires to slip on launch, but not excessively, so the stock tires are just fine. You can go stickier and really not hurt the powertrain too much (like with the STi RE070 or RE050 tires).

Unless you've modified the trans and axles to hold significant torque, your basic summer tire will work fine for dragging on an AWD WRX.
