tire suggestion

well gents i am looking for tire suggestions from some of you auto-x veterans. i will be running in sm this coming year and tires will be a huge help. i have a 02 bugeye with 3" cattless tbe, gutted up, xpt stage 2 map w LC, tokico hp struts (coming wed.), and now i am looking for tires. if i can find a set of 16x7 rims i have a set of kuhmo victoracer tires but i cant find any. (some 2.5 rs's have 16x7 wheels right). please give me some suggestions on tires that are not very expensive, i work on a limited budget. if i cant find 16x7 rims i might mount new tires on my stock 02 rims so they would have to be able to work on the street to.

for SM you definitely want to take full advantage of the R compounds- if you already have 16" Khumhos and are looking to keep on a budget then the RS rim (six or five spoke) is a good buy- usually $350-400 a set- check this site

no budget constraint would call for very wide wheels, very wide wide Hoosiers
