    24 @ Daytona

Anyone else watching? I've been watching the last 4-5 hours. I plan on waking up at 7 am tomorrow and start catching up on the last few hours. I'm hoping to catch the majority of this race. Anyone else watching it?

A tad bit upset the Suntrust car just started having some issues. I was hoping Max would be a strong car towards the end.

Are you really trying to call Grand-Am racing Nascar? I honestly dont think Nascar could run a 24 hour race.

Looking pretty good for this season. I'm a tad bit upset that Lally will be spending less time in the series and is going over to race Nascar trucks. I'm hoping that Juan has some bad luck and doesnt win the overall.

It's nice to see some DP cars actually using the Ford powerplant.

pretty good race overall- they may have set a record for lead changes???

Pirelli tires- looks like lap times dropped over previous years, but boy did they have a lot of flats! And how many of the flats possibly contributed to suspension failures later in the race??? Sticky is good, longevity is good, flats= no good.

Hats off to Mazda for putting such a good effort in GT, not easy beating Porsche. The rotary appears to alive and well

I noticed a fair amount of "flats" but from memory there seems to be alot of suspension issues at the 24 hours every year. I dont recall if it seemed more or less this year but going from the banking into the turns isnt easy on the setups (obviously).

I do lend a hand to Mazda for stepping up in this series. I also lend them a hand for all the support they give to the racing community. Without Mazda's efforts I'm sure some of the great talent would still be wheeling around go-karts at the local tracks.

It should be an interesting year if the compound of the tires do not change. I dont really understand the new pit rules that I saw when they were gathering them all up at pit out to go back on course. Seems kind of odd.

I do agree with the "each driver must spend 30 mins" in the car rule. Nothing against the one particular team last year (wont mention any names) but pitting on lap 2-4 and getting your "ACE" in the seat doesnt seem all that fair.
