    move out of montana

could I have ran in STX with the 6sp swap or does that constitute SM immediately? I mean...the STU guys have the 6sp...makes sense that STX could too...

    SM for a tranny swap

one of these days I'll be moving to where it's sunny and 70 degrees everyday, where a 45 minute drive gives you three choices of tracks to ramble about on, where you have to choose between three good tuners to do your car and can go to places to pick up parts and not have to have them shipped- someday

sucks that the real STis can run in ST* but a WRX with a 6sp can't...

    anyway.
I vote for alabama. its absolutely beautiful here.
we have 3 drag strips, year round autoX, 2 really close tracks and a few only a couple hours away.

Got my Hyperco springs yesterday. They will be mailed off to Scooby921 for testing on his rig tomorrow. The springs actually have a small bit of barrel to them, something about resisting bowing under load or something. Should also help with the rubbing on the spring perch problem that the Ground Controls have sometimes.

One bad thing about the Hypercos is that they are not labeled like the Eibach ERS so you better be damned sure you keep track of which is which

    nice.
we just got out first ethanol pump in my area. its over 50c a gallon cheaper than gasoline and from what i have gathered it has a higher motor octane... think it would be worth it to get a tune on straight E85?

john are those the "new" Hypercos? I saw splash 2-3 months ago talking about a complete redesign.

^ sorry no experience w/ E85- 50 cents cheaper does sound good though

Yep - there's a video about em on http://www.hypercoils.com/ - "next big thing from Hyperco" or something like that. They match up very well with the Swifts, number wise, and they are a lot cheaper
