Yeah, the yoks are STUPID expensive...

Does your tire guy have good prices? I've got a couple friends in tires but no one can come close to tire rack...

Stupid question, will tire rack shave tires?

The Tire Rack has offered a tire shaving service that has been primarily used for preparing competition tires for racetrack use.

The guy I work with is a local wholesale tire dealer. His prices are +- $5 of Tire Rack. He can also get me shaved tires.

No shipping & no tax is the way to go.

the Dunlops in 235/40 and 245/40 have been on backorder for some time

from the sound of things (Dixie Tour) the new Toyos probably (I'm sure someone will prove me wrong ) aren't the tire to have w/ the heavier ST* cars- almost abnormally quick wear, kind of vague (softish sidewall) and not much cheaper than any of the other offerings

Yes but I jumped on Chris' parts instead... because I've gotta tear the suspension apart once, and I'd rather only do it once.

btw, I guess I'll need that special tool to press out the rubber bushing in the rear knuckle when I get Chris' trailing links????

DOH! you've got to be kidding me!!! They need a poor ST* drivers only classifieds section....

    Cool deal!

It was AWESOME! I met and talked with Atkinson, really a cool guy, and I'll tell you what, his STi doesn't even remotely feel like the same car when you climb in. Dash is there and the scoop, but that's it! Also met a Prodrive Engineer, cool guy and knows the GD chassis VERY well...
