Wow what a GP. I have no clue what Ferrari were thinking sending two cars out on intermediates in the middle of a monsoon, when FIA dictated full wets for everyone. Todt is better than that. If it were any other team they'd be crucified.
Lots of good drives, but not by Alonso and not by Massa either. Raikkonen ended up racing for podium vs. Kovailanen mostly due to attrition. Webber had a bad day, being rammed and taken out. Hamilton had a great drive, second in skill and talent only to whoever was driving the pace car (that guy was awesome).
The first 19 laps were a parade underwater, and the rest were a demolition derby. Good thing Alonso cut his hair this year, the rain would've ruined that 80s look he had going previously.
Ralph Schumacher did the right thing by parking the Toyota. Honda should go home as well. Both cars are too pathetic for words, especially with mega-budgets and private tracks and incredible infrastructure only to be bested by client cars and energy drink also-ran cars day in, day out. If I were Japanese and had paid $300+ to sit in the rain for two hours and watch the Japanese cars get passed, I might take up drifting instead out of anger. Well, OK, not drifting. Let's not get carried away. They should really get it together though.
