hey guys, ive been looking around and asking around and it seems that there arnt to many low budget races in the bay area. if you guys have any advice on were to look or who to call let me know please. i really wanna stop getting tix and test my skills without have to pay more $$$ to the local police dept.
Here are some groups that autocross in Atwater in the Central Valley...
Atwater is a huge concrete expanse at the end of Castle Airport formerly Castle Air Force Base. Lots of room and super grippy. Both groups that race there give you 5 runs.
The next SCCA race is 8/26/07.
The American Autox Series has a race in September. I just raced with them last week for the first time, if you want to see some cool old 'vettes in action, you should check them out. The courses are geared more towards high powered rear wheel drive cars, ie. wide and fast, but anyone will have fun.
Orange cones fear me.
thanks great find
