I screwed the pooch on that one too. I think I mowed down three cones at the finish. A horrible run.

Got a little scared scrolling down through the pics- all I could see was the light posts!

A buddy of mine (w/ a WRX) ran an event in TX w/ the BMW club, he came though the timing lights sideways and they kicked him out

I was doing a instructor run with a guy in a Saabaru 4th heat. He lost it right at about the same way I did, but his recovery wasn't quite as good and he came about 10 ft. from sliding backward into that light post.

Thought for sure that you were going to meet up with one of those light poles or the timing equipment. The safety steward must have almost sh1t himself.

True that. I'm saving for a nice set of coil-overs, thats why I knew. People are always telling me the same thing.

I was actually quite surprised at the 'relative flatness' my car displayed, given I am on OE dampers, sways, and DF210 springs..

My friend posted a vid of my first ever autox, somewhere on youtube.. I'll see if I can find it..

In the vid, you can hear my autistic son in the background telling some woman "thats my dad. alright, dad!"

I am actually running a Whiteline 29mm front bar. I only have JDM STi springs though, which is hurting me overall.

I am currently making some plans for next season.

This is from the Philly SCCA Solo II event held at Ripken Stadium in MD on 8/5/07. This is what happens when you have a high speed finish with some tight transitions and a driver being a "bit" over aggressive.

any 1 know what kind of wheels these are

The green cones are the finish, which I went through sideways.

^^^ This post is a prime example of when NOT to use the Quote button.

They are Enkei Tarmac ES. Last I heard the wheels are no longer imported to the US.
