Oh..so the clutch was engaging/disengaging quickly, causing the revs to bounce? Interesting. Good run!!

No the sensor pulling out caused the hydra to think the flat foot shifting was engaged. So basically it was sending a false signal.

I did a 1/4 mile run on my Cobb AP the other day on a long stretch of road that has a little elevation to it. It came up with a 13.3@108. I launched it very easy and redlined 3rd. I have a '09 WRX stg II. Perrin DP, CAI, Mid pipe and Crawford Performance Gymkana exhaust. This was on my winter tires. What times has anyone got with this same relative setup? Is the AP pretty accurate at reading it?

I've done a few runs at the track while using the AP. It wasn't even close to on. I was about 0.6 off on my ET.. the 60ft wasn't close, and the Trap Speed was nowhere close

So was the AP slower or faster? Did you have a Reaction time at the strip? The AP just starts when you accelerate. Thanks for the response.

APs accuracy are almost pointless/useless. The only way the accuracy of it can be found is one is using the 1/4 function at an actual track during a run. I want to see someone try that and look at the comparison. I ran a 14.9 1/4 mile with my AP and I ran a 13.1 at the track. The variances between track and a "long stretch 1/4 mile AP run" are so substantial it's really a joke. For example (time, temp, surface, elevation, humidity, etc), It's impossible to replicate the same situation. It's not even good enough to give you an idea of what you will run. Oh and according to my AP I have 6 second 0-60 lol.

Haha, that would be awesome if my AP was slower than if I was at a track because I regularly get 0-60 times at 4.7 seconds. I would be very happy with the rex if I can do high 12s at the local dragstrip. It should be possible with an '09 perrin stage 2.

The MPH is so low becuase I had resolved that run to see if I could carry 3rd all the way through, and was bouncing off the rev limiter just before the 1/4. I think that if I had just shifted It would be a faster run. Also, with a run like this, if I have a better 60ft, say 1.6, how would that translate out into 1/4 time? (In other words, how fast can the car go if I dont suck?)

you can't get a 1.6 with your car... you'd have to put a lot of money into your car to get a 1.6 60ft

Yea, after looking around some I was seeing that you cant get that with just a stage 2 wrx. However, I think i can pull a 1.9 at least find another .1 between shifts, could be a mid 13s car~

doesnt matter much though, next time I go im looking for something in the 12s~
