    SlowBoy ???

Slow Boy in Pittsburgh, has anyone used them? Are they a good company to deal with. I just got wind they have an AWD dyno I was thinking of going to, but I want to check it out with my buddies at clubWRX.net first. I won't deal with a vendor that is not approved

I haven't dealt with them but the person that tuned my car seemd to have been pretty happy in dealing with them. They're relatively new to the suby community and their turbos haven't relaly put up yet, but I think their time is coming. They've got a pretty good name in the DSM community.

Yes, they do. I bought their 3500 Clutch Kit on Thursday and it was at my door Monday morning. I talked to Craig and Mike on the phone and they were both really nice and extremely helpful. I cant speak for their product as it hasnt been installed yet, but Im very satisfied with their service. I might have to make a trip up to their dyno.

A few people have tried their turbo's, but the numbers just have not been there...yet. I know someone local running one of their turbos w/o much success. However, the company has provided quick and resonable support. At this point it is unclear as to whether the problem is w/ the turbo or something unrelated.

I've heard pretty good things about them as well with regards to the DSM community. My buddy went up there and picked up a small 16g for his DSM last year and had nothing but nice things to say about the place. Havent heard much about their Subie support though. I'd consider hitting it up for a dyno run, perhaps this summer since they're def. really the only dyno close to the Pittsburgh area

I was looking into them just because they had an AWD dyno.

Maybe if you guys are interested i can get a few of us to all go up there at the same time and maybe he will cut us a little slack on the price

I am in the Cranberry TWP area. I have a WRB wingless, debadged WRX. I am lowered but running stock wheels and stock axleback. Sleeper

Just purchased my first WRX! 2005 Wagon stock (for now). Any updates on Slowboy? I'd like another positive experience before taking the drive out to Indiana.

    Thumbs down

my friend bought some stuff from them while they were still in pa. it was the worst experience he has EVER had from tuner shop. they sent the wrong parts, refused refunds, and were a real PIA to get a hold of. granted things may have changed in the 2 years, but they have tarnished my view of them irrevocably.
