PINE BARRENS EXPRESS RALLY - Nov 20th @ Lakehurst, NJ

This is it. What is called the GREATEST road rally on the East Coast is almost upon us. Of all the road rallies we have done this is by far the most fun! I will definitely be attending with Jim as my navigator and will most likely be competing once again in the Novice class (less than 10 collective events together).

So, in the hope of sparking more interest in rallying in the tri-state area, I encourage anyone to attend and participate in this awesome event.

For 60+ years before rallying was as you see it today (ie all out race against the clock!), rallying was TimeSpeedDistance type rallying and you'll be participating in a time honored tradition.

    Hope to see you there.

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to mention that this is almost a totally unpaved road rally. That means low speed drifting nearly every turn

This looks really cool! Have a few questions tho. Do you need to be experienced as I have never done a rally before. Does my car need to be modified as my car is stock. Lastly, do my navigator and myself need helmets/harnesses etc?

    Thanks

Its not an all out time attack on public roads

All you really need to bring is:
    a clipboard.
    a stopwatch.
    a flashlight/interior maplight.
a set of flares or emergency triangle (just in case)
a 2x4 if you accidentally get stuck.
a sense of adventure (because this event ROCKS!!!)
