That would be Watkins Glen NY, or Lime Rock Park in CT. Both equally awesome.

I've been contemplating trying to setup a tristate meet at one of those tracks.... I really wanna get my car out on a track! Does anyone know how much it costs and what kind of equipment is mandatory for running? Would anyone be interested if I tried to set this up?

I would definatly be interested in Watkins Glen, once you answer those same questions. I just need to know cost of running, and what Equipment is needed. I only have a motorcycle helmet.

much luck. a mutual aquaintance and her hubby used to do this for us at Pocono for the Audi enthusiasts.

not to discourage you but you need to have some major coinage on hand to reserve a track and cover insurance, corner workers and an ambulance...$5000+ is about the range. and you need to pay it up front...and hope to God the people stating they will come pay up.

they stopped doing it cause last time a bunch of people backed out and they were left to cover something like $2000.

also, after 9-11, the insurance rates went up so it's just getting expensive unfortunately.

you guys might try the following:

    PDA

    Friday at The Track: FATT

    NASA Northeast

    EMRA

    Beaver Run

and my action shots & vids: velozt.net

pm me if you want more details on any of these. would love to see more Subaru onwers participate in these events!
