Need advice on a ticket

I got a ticket a while back for going 60 in a 25. The thing is I was being chased by some people that wanted to beat my ass. (my friend beat one of there friends asses, and for some reason they came after me)

I managed to lose them buy cutting down a side street, but there was a police officer on that road. She said I was going 60 in a 25. I don't know how fast I was going, I was kinda scared and that was the last thing on my mind. I told what was happening, she didn't care. In fact we had even called 911 before she pulled me over.

So my court date is in a week. Just wondering if anyone had any advice for me. Or know any laws that may help me out.


This happened in delaware by the way.

ouch. what was the fine/points? Was this in Bridgeville?

I'd suggest talking to a traffic lawyer if you can find one.

It was blades, the fine was like 165, And I'm from maryland so I don't think the points will transfer.
