Where to get installs

Any recommendations on a shop in the DC metro area for installs- turbo and injectors or any experienced members want to make some $?

There's Altered Atmosphere (or something like that) in Fairfax

There's also Autothority, also in Fairfax (they tend to be expensive though)

Check with Henry at Beyers Subaru in the parts department. They do all kinds of install there if you just let them know in advance. Nice guys there.

You know how much they charge for a uppipe install?

Also if you ever need your wheels balanced I suggest Autothority, they have one of those machines recommended by tirerack. Sears has managed to screw up balancing on the wheels three times, never will I got back there again. But Authority got it right on the first time and only took about 45 min. Very nice people, cost 80 bucks.

I think he told me that an uppipe was $200 but would do the downpipe for free if I did both at the same time. That seems to be the going rate from what I have read in the forums. Since you have the Prodrive Stage 2 you have replaced the midpipe already so you could probably get the Up and down together for $200 also.

Wow $200 is a deal. Most places I've seen are $275ish.

I got my turbo, injectors, fuel pump and others installed there.

Does Henry at Beyers Subaru work in the parts or service department?

I'm thinking of using them for the work on my car (if it ever needs any) in the future as long as they are cool with a car with mods. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Henry works in the parts dept. Very good with mods and helping choose. techs do the installation. They will still void your warranty. BTW, nice cars you have. Maybe see you again another Friday at BJs.

That is correct. He will try and work with you on getting warranty work done but if you have Stage 2 and up it may be difficult. He can get things not covered by warranty done for good prices though. Give him a call and talk to him about your plans and he can tell you all about your situation.

Thanks for the info guys.

I'm not looking for someone to warranty parts that may have been compromised by my mods but someone who knows Subarus and will be reasonable if I have a true warranty issue not related to mods, someone whose charges will be reasonable on other work and who will do mod installs that I don't have the time or experience to do myself. I was planning on using Beyers in the future anyway so it's good to know about Henry.

Vanguard - Nice to meet you and check out your car as well. I'm sure we'll see each other around at the meets.
