That's cool that you grew up around here. Why did you leave? I absolutely hate NYC, I thought DC was bad...

I was born north of Philly, moved to Fairfax at age 7 (almost 8) and lived around the area until 22 when I moved to MD (Silver Spring/Rockville area).

Actually I grew up in RI with my mom, but I've always had all of those ties to VA.

NYC is the place to be...yer definitely looking for some beef when I get down there tomorrow!

Well my experience with it wasn't very pleasant. =) I guess to each their own huh?

Update - The BBQ was great! I have no idea how many cars showed up, but they filled up just about all of the parking at Lake Fairfax.

I'll post my pics when I get a chance...hopefully soon. You'll see...

THREE Acura NSX's (out of four)!
TWO Nissan Skyline GT-R's (of different generations)!
ONE Ferrari 355GT!

There were also two of the most doped out drift monkeys around - an old Celica and a 240SX done up as the most authentic JDM Silvia a person could imagine.

Besides all of that, there were COUNTLESS WRX's, RSX's, IS300's, and Celicas, plus some nice twin turbo Supras, and even a Viper RT-10.

I don't know if I talked to you Matt, but I was there, with the wrb wrx with gold rota wheels and jdm projectors. The meet was great, so many cars. Can't wait for the next one.

I was there as well and had a great time. Only met a couple of people, but that's ok. Maybe another day. But it was good to meet the few that I did. I had one of the very stock looking WRB WRX's Lotsa food, lotsa cars, good time. As soon as I get pics up, i'll post em.

Glad to see such a big turn out. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to many of you, I was busy 'entertaining' friends who came out to the event.
