GI PA Go Kart Meet

Gauging interest for another trip up to PA for some go karting.

I havent picked a weekend yet but it will probaly be towards the beginning of next month. I am mainly wondering if you guys/gals feel it is to hot out for this type of thing? I think last time we were karting for around 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.

If people arent going to want to be in the sun for that long I will just wait until fall when it gets a little cooler.

Also if you are at all interested let me know. I'd like to get a head count also so I can make the right contacts and let them know.

I'll be leaving from the Towson MD area and heading up through hampstead/manchester to the go karts off of PA 94. I think it took us about 45 mins last time for towson maybe a little longer just for an idea.

Basically drive up there...bump into each other for a bit...and we can either all go home or stop somewhere for a bite to eat in Hanover. Let me know.

I am interested depending on the day..

If it's going to be hot as this coming up week, I don't know if it is a good idea.

But still put me down as a maybe for right now... Just let me know the day or possibility.

I'm going to start another thread once I see if people are going to be weather sissy's are not. This is just GI. I'll pick a date once I see how many people are/arent willing to attend.

my maybe fall was because my schedule will be alittle less crazy (buy adding in 5 classes

if i am prepared, then the heat does not bother me. i will bring a hat and some sunblock and should be good to go. the heat does not typically bother me, so long as i brought lots of water

I think we decided last time it would probaly be around 25 bucks. I think we spent 38 and got like 6-8 rides and we all basically decided that we could easily save 13 bucks and just get 4-5 rides.

Should be a decent turnout. I'm going to try and see if the GF is free so there will be atleast one lady at this event.
