    Anyway Jag is also right, I said it once i'll say it again, vehicle laws in VA are some of the strictest in the country.

    Something to remember is that they are both also bound by different emissions laws.

    Actually it was been illegal since 1979 to tamper with your OEM exhaust for on road vehicles...they just don't enforce it that well in most states.

    Yeah federally, I can't say I've ever heard of that being enforced though.

    i went through a checkpoint the other night and a statey said it is considered "deffective equipment" but i told him i got it on a trade-in as is and he let it go

    My brother got off on his exhaust ticket on his Evo because they had no proof of what the db rating was on a stock Evo was.

    It can't be louder than what it is stock. They don't know what the level on a Evo is stock.
