so long as you have wheels currently, why not come out anyway? it is always nice to put faces to screen names.

i will just tell you in person. i would imagine that there are already reviews written out there. bottom line is that it works. the clunking i was getting from my rear diff is completely gone. i dropped 2nd hard as hell, just to test it (on a slightly wet road), and instead of getting the clunk, i spun a tiny bit of wheel with no complaints from the diff. i got the race version and used the two bigger outrigger bushings, not the small inner one peaty recommends. it is my understanding that using the 2 i chose lowers the nvh on the race set, which is ideal for me.

Mmmm. I think that is next on the list after I finish my turbo setup. About how long was the install?

it's only $70 shipped from turninconcepts. i slipped it in there while i am trying to save for a house. way worth the money.

about install time, well, that really depends on your knowledge of bushings. the outriggers take 15 minutes, tops, with the car in the air enough to lay under. the rear diff mounts are a different story. the tutorial on scoobymods is excellent. the time-eater on an sti is the rear diff temp sensor. it kills your ability to make a full turn on the mounting bolts. once the mount is out you have to get the bushings out. if you are good, you get get the 2 out in about 5 minutes. it took me nearly 40 the first time on my wrx, 20 on my friends bugeye, and now a little over 5 with my sti. total install was probably about an hour this time around. we took about 4 hours to do mine, but we were only partially working on my car. we were also working on a system for the bugeye.

i guess i should have just made a review thread after all

    sorry for the threadjack

My personal suggestion would be to talk to someone in this thread via PM and see if they mind you riding with them (but only if you are comfortable with this).

The speeds arent going to be anything crazy by any means but I dont know if a 96 accord will really keep up without giving it a good beating. My STI did the run at the speed limit (or slightly over) just without doing much braking and it was a blast. I would assume the accord will struggle much like my escort would if I attempted it.
0-60 faster then your first sexual experience.

I dont know really...maybe Taz can offer some better advice. I dont have any problems with anyone tagging along, but I think you'd be putting a good bit of pressure on your car personally.

my car is in decent shape. Engine has around 120,xxx miles, tires are decent...

Smoking doesn't bother me except in a bar tho! lol

I'd rather not mess my car up since I am going to try to sell it eventually. Definitely selling it outright instead of trade-in.

If thats cool with you I would ride with you.
Never been on a "drive" with so many cars. I have only been in 3 Subaru's total. and 2 were test drives this past Saturday and 1 was a test drive (passenger) up a Jones Junction.

sure, it is not a problem. i don't think i will be up in time on sat to meet you at the lunch spot before the meet, so meet at the park and ride with everyone else and i will bring you back to your car after lunch.

Yes...we will arrive at the Park and Ride between 10:30-11 am. This allows people coming from a distance to either get there early or be a few mins late.

While people are filing in it's usually a good time to get names and introduce yourself and also take some pictures.

From there we will leave and head to the planned route with the ending location being the Silver Spring Mining Company. Then we just chill/eat for a bit and head home. Silver Spring Mining Company is located close to both 695 and the 83's for anyone needing to head home.

I expect the drive to take about an hour and hopefully we will be off the park and ride lot around 11. Should be eatting by 12:30ish at the latest.

    Enjoy.
