    yea i guess i'll go then. My records clean, i've never gotten a ticket before. I cant help but feel i wouldnt have gotten the ticket if i was driving a different car

    Wrong.......Police's MVA can pull tickets up to 99 years, you just have to alter the search.


    PBJ is usually 2 years.

    right, the courts and the police can see the entire record, but the DMV, the service used by insurance companies when they look at your record, don't list back that far.

    Oh ok I read it as you ment after 3 years it was cleared from the record, which isnt the case. I'm not sure how far back insurance companies can gather the info, but when I was getting qoutes everyone but progressive wanted 5 year history. I'd imagine they would have a way to verify it if they were going back that far. Oh well........insurance isnt my game.

    my bad, sorry for that tone. i didn't mean to sound like i was jumping on you. i was playin' poker when i typed that post. had i not been distracted i would have thought about the way my thought sounded when said out loud i was talking about the points aspect because he said something about it in one of his posts.
