Forgo wheel spacers and choose wheels with proper offset for your suspension geometry.

That's a big spacer, but jeeps have been running 1.5" spacers for years. Just make sure they're hubcentric and have separate lugs for the wheels.

No. This goes much deeper than that.

    USE THE CORRECT DEFINED OFFSET.

No zax is right. Spacers are going to decrease your reliability. Just because a jeep is running bigger spacers does not mean your wrx can. At the very least your going to burn through wheel bearings like a dollar store toaster burns your bread

You can argue this 'til you're blue in the face, but I've run spacers on four different cars over a 15 year span, and have never had any issues because they were all meant to go with that car, but only use double-concentric wheel spacers.

Plenty of people drink beer every day and don't have any problems.

This doesn't mean beer is healthy for you.

I've heard this a million times "I installed ___ and haven't any problems, therefore it's fine." False. It's not fine.
