    Fort Meade Radiator swap

I've got a pinhole leak in my radiator, the plastic top piece cracked. I ordered a replacement radiator, an all aluminium one, and I'm planning on installing it this Saturday(19th) starting around 9am.
I'm going to be swapping them out at the Fort Meade Auto Hobby.
Anyone with a DOD ID card is more than welcome to come laugh at me whilst I drop wrenches on my toes.

    Is it Mishimoto?

The install isn't too bad really - trimming the hoses is the only fiddley part.

One thing - if your current radiator lacks the cap and overflow nipple, like my bugeye did, you need some hose and a T to recreate the alternate stock setup. This shows how it should be plumbed -

lokey- that was a reminder of the Sat modmeet thing right? -shouldn't take that long... it'd be awesome to show up all nasty and smelling like radiator fluid.

mycologist - thanks for the heads up. It's not a Mishimoto. It's supposed to arrive this Wednesday, I'll see if it's got the nipple. From the photo it doesn't have a nipple or cap.

WantWasabi - it's more than worth sitting through that horrible video. They took a VHS tape and had somebody crap it out on a DVD for their "safety" video. Mr. Parker (CSM -Army Ret) is awesome. This place is the best Auto-Hobby I've been too. Second best was on a NATO camp, a Dutch guy ran it.

Gotta love the military...can't wait until I'm out in August! But I'm glad it worked out for you, I might be able to stop by and lend a hand if my buddy backs out on the other plans I have for Sat right now.
