    91 octane???

So i've encountered a peculiar problem. My 02 wrx was protuned by Agile a year and a half ago using 93 octane gasoline. I'm gonna be moving back to California, and as we all know, they only have 91 octane gas. I want to get my car tuned to 91 before I go back, but Ptuning wants me to bring in some 91 octane with me, and I don't know where to find any. Does anyone know of ANY place in the DC metro area that has 91 octane gas??? Thanks for the help!

Why not just have it re-tuned on 91 by a local tuner once you get out here?

I believe you have more to worry about than just the simple octane rating. California's 91 does not equal regular 91. So by tuning to regular 91, you could still be at risk of det.

I would go get some 93 and mix it with 87 to get about 90 octane. Put in a tank of that, and tune conservatively. You'd probably be ok then running Cali's crappy 91.
