3rd Annual Baltimore County Meet/Drive/Food Event 5/31/08

I'm going to attempt to setup the 3rd Baltimore County Meet. This event in the past has consited of meeting in a parking lot, going for a nice drive on backroads, and ending at Silver Spring Mining Company and enjoying some good food.

This event is scheduled for 05/31/2008 and I plan on meeting at the White Marsh Park and Ride around 10:30 and leaving at around 11 am. The roads will probaly be simuliar to last years but I do not remember the exact route. There were some very scenic roads last year and from what I gathered everyone who attended enjoyed themselfs.

I'd like to gather a "head count" of sorts to determine if Silver Spring Mining Company is going to be able to serve us. They to my knowledge do not usually accept reservations but last year I called and they set us aside several tables. If you plan on coming please indicate in a post so I can keep track. If you plan on bringing a guest let me know as well.

Street racers need not apply as this is going to be a fun event. It is more of a social gathering to see what other people have done over the winter and get to put some names to faces from this board. No one will be expected (or allowed) to drive ten tenths on public streets. This isnt ment to single anyone out just a disclaimer I felt needed to be put. If you came last year and had a good time then come again as I am going for the same kind of atmosphore.

Final disclaimer. This is a come/drive at your own risk on public roads. The organizers take no responsibilty for any loss suffered at this event. We are here to all have fun/hang out. That's all.

If you have reservations like I do about some other local driving meets this one has been kind of unique as far as the people who attend, the maturity level, and the the laws being followed. If you plan on tearing up some turns and making a fool of yourself please plan on doing that after the meet. Thanks

It's opened to anyone but mainly focused on members of this forum.

It's a bit of a hike from VA but you are more then welcome to tag along.

This meet is far more important then helping her move...she'll understand.

No big deal....let me know whenever you can so I can add/subtract from the head count.

oh ill be there no matter what for at least part of it, seeing as how we are moving her from frederick to right near the meet ill be there sometime or another
