Hey guys I live in MD and I was just wondering if anybodys passed their emissions testing or thinks i would pass mine with a catless up-pipe. Right now i have a full exhaust and when it comes emissions time ill put the stock down-pipe back on, i really dont want to have to put the stock up-pipe back on cause it was a pain just to get off. So you guys think i can pass with just one cat?
Unless someone is extremely familiar with Subarus, they won't expect a pre-turbo cat. That being said, in NY, an inspection is a set rate ($21), so the shop as long as they see at least one cat, they will pass you (why spend more time looking over the car than necessary?).Originally Posted by silverwrx18

It should pass....Mine just did last week. I only have 1 cat on the car (mid pipe).

If it doesn't pass just tell them to eat one. Doesn't always work, but worth a try
i vote pass... just say wrx's don't come with a cat in the uppipe.
