Other than old people who drive Crown Vics? The conflicting accounts of this event have me wondering. I am the counterculture (conspiracy minded) resident here.

Around here it seems as if those who are used to sitting in the back of a vic with a LEO driving also like driving them when they are out on bail/parole. Same with the old caprices as well.

+1 to what Brian said. Like I was saying I've notice some of the country folk driving what are obviously old government vehicles around Dawson County where I live. (It's relatively rural and known for meth production in some of the secluded wooded areas.)

Red stripe over the rear wheel? Do mean this:

That looks like a body bag type thing to me... idk.

Im not saying those wheels are exclusive to cruisers, but I rarely see CV unmarkeds with the black steelies.. I always see them with the pictured ones. That doesn't mean that a POV cant have them, but they tend (again, from what I personally am used to seeing) to have the pictured wheels, but in silver powdercoat. A rare occasion of the chromed ones on a POV, but almost always on a cruiser..

I'm not saying it was a police officer, but I'm sure some here can attest that it wouldn't be uncommon to tight-lip such information, if it were.

Having a father that was on the force for many of years, I wouldn't be surprised.

Regardless, this 'conspiracy theory' wasn't the intent of the original post...

And if the dub duece's have been 'ganked' then it's just got the 22" sticker above the wheel wells and steelies.
