I figured I'm probaly the first one home so why not post this. For a lack of better terms I dont care if I ever do a TBE/UP install on a 04-05 wrx.
All the heatshielding made removing the stock equipment a PITA.
Oddly enough removing the stock UP wasnt as big of a deal as others have made it out to be. A PITA non the less but we actually pulled it from the top rather then wiggling it out from the bottom.
Pizza was good so that's a bonus.
Some great qoutes were said and Jeff actually learned what a nut/bolt is so that's pretty cool.
I'm waiting to post some pictures. We are going to trademark a certain part made for large tents. Makes for a nice break bar.
Oh and BTW Tyler...you might need the white connector.

since when does the 04s have a bajillon heat shields and hangers? my 06 had 1 heat shield and 1 hanger.
also i was the only one that was strong enough to break the bolts loose so they just watched me get tired doing all the work on some rusty bolts

I was trying to break one of the down pipe bolts loose and the wrench slipped off the nut and my hand went right into the tranny mount with my body weight behind it

it took me and my buddy about 4 for the DP remove and install new. Good times! Some of those bolts were a BEEOTCH!
