One of my goals this winter is to have a spur of the moment snow meet.

Bundle up, turn the defrost on, kick the snow mounds out of the wheel wells, and maybe hit up a 24 hour dinner (towson probaly) around 2 am.

Cant wait for the snow......keep your schedules open on the first night it snows.

If i get snow tires and a new axle by the first snow, im down for a spur of the moment snow meet and diner at 2am...sounds like one hell of a plan..

Snow tires are a must. They make the car so MUCH more fun.

What's the deal with your axle?

I dunno, unless you go with a studded tire there is maybe like a 25% difference between a good all season and a good snow tire these days. The all season will do substantially better without the snow though.

+1 on the VA drivers. I lived down there in '04. I actually live in upstate NY now. I put my WRX away for the winter, but the Legacy definately gets sideways!
