Colonial Park will be at Watchung Reservation

[B]Edit: Thank you izzodesh for keeping the list up to date
This is accurate as of 9:30am Sat July 16th.

This year the Colonial Park meet will not be happening at Colonial Park. Due to lack of planning there was no way we were going to have it there. Colonial Park is an awesome place to do a meet but it books up early. They could not give us a permit for the place. All the areas were reserved. This kinda happened last year also but the meet wasnt expected to be anywhere near as huge as it was. The weather kept whoever had reserved the space we went into away. Those of you that made it last year in the pouring rain can attest to the size of this meet. My fear was that we said screw it and went there anyway and got kicked out. Who drove to Tobeyfest? I dont want that to happen to us.

I got a permit for Watchung Reservation. Cost me $50 for the permit to book an area for us. Cost another $50 for the beer permit Total cost so far $100. We are booked for July 17th Sunday. We need to start arriving between 10:30 - 11:00. If noone is there they will give the area away to whoever wants it.

There is no fee for anyone to attend. But if you want to help pay for the permits i got feel free to do so
Lets start figuring out food and charcoal and other relevant pieces to the bbq puzzle.

    RAIN OR SHINE
This meet will go on just like last yr!

    Directions to Watchung Reservaion

    Westbound on 78:
Take exit 43 for New Providence/Berkely Heights.
Make a right at the light on McMaine Avenue .
At the T intersection, make a left on Glen Side.
Make a right onto Watchung Reservation.
Pass Lake Surprise and follow signs for Loop Area.
    We are in Oak Grove

    Eastbound on 78:
    Take Exit 44
make a LEFT onto Glenside Ave (might be two words Glen Side)
go 1.2 miles and make a RIGHT onto Tracey Dr. (entrance to reservation)
Pass Lake Surprise and go up the hill.
We will be in the area called the LOOP.
Our picnic area is called OAK GROVE.

If you want to mapquest it use one of these addresses
1160 Summit Lane or 452 New Providence Rd. One is for the stables the other is for the museum.
The reservation is huge so there isnt really an accurate street address I can find.
