Yeah, definitely was. So well balanced...it wasn't until a couple years later, having driven a bunch of other cars that I realized how sharp everything about it was. Handling, performance, brakes, it was all just right where it needed to be. If I could go back in time to when the 1st motor blew, I would just put a brand new stock WRX block in and left everything else alone. I'd probably still have her if I'd have done that (and have about 200k miles on it!)

I hear what you're saying...for the new guy off the street it's probably easier to flash with Cobb, although all things being equal you get a better product with a custom tuned EcuTek or Opensource setup. Cobb is more n00b friendly for those of us that can't source Prodrive-direct groupN ecu's...
