yup i hear you , still she has a lot of history on that car as 1 of the first 02 wrx's in the tri-state and to be modded etc ,took me a while but damn was she ever FUN
Yeah, definitely was. So well balanced...it wasn't until a couple years later, having driven a bunch of other cars that I realized how sharp everything about it was. Handling, performance, brakes, it was all just right where it needed to be. If I could go back in time to when the 1st motor blew, I would just put a brand new stock WRX block in and left everything else alone. I'd probably still have her if I'd have done that (and have about 200k miles on it!)
yeah i sure as hell miss her too , what a lil monster scooby she was ! SQC #009 pics
Man, and it's funny, I was thinking about "our" old car all afternoon today. If only I could go back in time, the things I would do differently... *sigh*
true for the AP for the n00b or the guy who lives a distance from a decent tuner for ecutek or enginuity
I hear what you're saying...for the new guy off the street it's probably easier to flash with Cobb, although all things being equal you get a better product with a custom tuned EcuTek or Opensource setup. Cobb is more n00b friendly for those of us that can't source Prodrive-direct groupN ecu's...
hey mate yeah stickied thread and linked post in EM forum, but yeah imho AP is based off there mods and tunes you download, and i have as you know 1.used group n ecu
and my 04 drove to over 90k on ecutek reflash, my 06 sti to 36k on ecutek reflash and my modded RS swap on a enginuity reflash , all tunes done by dave at metric ,subaru and never once had a issue so imho just simple mileage alone those tunes etc are more than reliable but road proven
What's up Andy, sorry I missed you earlier...
LOL z doh ! way to go mate
