im a cheap bastard, man. i wouldnt mind doing steelies but ive been reading up on the tps sensor bull**** so im thinking ill just go with the all season although i really want winters. Im in the northeast, got a 2011 dgm wrx. I always see a car that looks similar to urs parked on president street i believe..
It depends on what you are looking for. If you wanna run dedicated summer tires and then something for the winter, I would go with winters. I get dunlop wintersport 3Ds and I put them on 205-55/16s. The 16s are way cheaper than the 17s and offer a thicker tire for crappy winter roads. You can also pick up a set of 04/05 wrx wheels from the forums and they look better than steelies. If you are trying to save some money, then go with good all seasons, but they wont offer the "extremes" of dedicateds. I switch them out when the average temp gets to be around 45, which around here is tricky bc somedays its 30 in the morning and 65 in the afternoon, and then switch back vice versa (prob november and march/april).
so where abouts philly are you in?
