That's because it probably is just the differentials. You have three of them that are spinning at almost all times...it's gonna make a lot more noise...
Welcome. Glad you're excited and hopefully it works out. It's few and far between that a flood damaged car actually doesn't end up having problems in...
If you're gonna lose money on the trade in or something of that scenario, then no a WRX isn't a wise choice. I think Zach's numbers are a little low...
I spend most of my time job-hunting lately. I also enjoy writing, playing instruments (guitar, piano & bass), sketching and doodling, finding new exciting things to cook, reading manga, goofing off with my friends and of course...driving.
Biography:
I've been driving country roads since I was little, and have always loved it. Grew up close to my bro and cousins who've always been into modding, showing, and auto-cross, so what can I say, it grew on me. The subie is my first car after a couple of tortuous years driving around my parents' suburban >_< I've had no previous experience driving a manual transmission before, but I'm already so in love! I just got it on November 29th 2011 after wanting one for a long time. I couldn't be happier, it's exactly what I wanted! (alright...not the color but let's be fair that's not enough to bother me) Sadly it's bone stock and at this rate it will be a bit before I have money for any serious mods, but I love having room to grow and do it the way I want it. Other than that, I am who I am. I don't claim to have great amounts of knowledge about cars, so done expect it please! I look for no fights, so take me as you will, I'm just happy to be the owner of my subie and I love it to bits! <3
