My dad dropped me off at the dealership when I picked up my WRX. He looked me in the eye and said "Son, I've wasted a lot of time and money 'modifying' cars, and I want you to know it only hurts the value of the car." I stared right back into those fudge-cutter eyes of his and said "Value according to who?" And haven't looked back since.
