^^^Saw your WRX over at Nasioc as the Top Sube 21...congrats man! Definitely a gorgeous and clean looking WRX. I personally like your street wheels. I've always liked the dished look, though its very hard to pull off with a Subaru and keep a good offset.

I think it's crazy how so many people are willing to put such bad setups on their cars just to make the appearance look 'better'. Don't people know that the lower the offset the worse the steering gets? And seriously, people using 9 and 10 inch wide wheels, with a 235 width tire.... I don't mean to sound negative or critical, but Jesus come on guys, there should be a MINIMUM of a 245 on the 9 and a 265 on the 10... Just wish people would do their homework before buying wheels that are ultimately just hurting the cars performance, I see lots of pics with wheels that look great with the cars, but the offset, wheel size and tire size specs almost makes me cry haha

I just bought my 05 WRX yesterday, and the wheels are the first thing I want to upgrade. Does anyone know what the widest possible 18" wheels I can get for an 05 WRX would be? And what tire size? Thanks

18x8.5's are probably the biggest you can do without any fender work with 245 width tires. Its all about using the proper offset.

But with money, you can do whatever.

What kind of offset should I use with 8x8.5" wheels? and do you think this size would rub when i turn?

I dont care if these are common wheels, they are gunna look sick on my 2010 with pirelli or yokohamas. Verde Black Ice 17 x 7.5, and just stock 235/45/R17s. The chrome rims were a mistake. Got them all for 200 bucks, they are American Racing rims, shine really easy and easy to clean, but just are too much bling for the suby, but thought I should share my experience.

whats your offset on these rims i like how they sit ! i dont want the same ones but they look like they fit well i know this is an old post but im trying to find what i want if you can help thanks !
