    New exhaust for the M-Thrizzle

    Yep, I'm keeping her So, it was time to mod her...starting with a Dixis Titanium axleback. This thing weighs 5 lbs, vs. the 75 lbs of the stock axleback

    damn - nice weight savings!

    That is a crap-ton of welds though. As long as the welds hold - I don't see any issues.

    It sounds awesome Deep and throating...all the tinny raspiness is gone. Sounds like an exotic European car now! I was surprised how much of a difference could be felt on the butt dyno too. Definitely much better throttle response and more punch when you really step on it.

    5 lbs? Holy crap. I'm guessing that cost more than all the mods I've done to my WRX's engine.

    edit:I remember seeing a similar exhaust a few years back for around $7k

    $7k? Ummm no Maybe for ALL the piping to be replaced in titanium, or for the ridiculous race version, but this exhaust is definitely not $7k

    I know what it goes for these days (just googled it ), thats just what I saw some clown pay for one at a friend's shop a few years back
