    06 STi pics

My buddy's STi. Hopefully we'll get it polished today and go out and take pics of it with my Evo with some better scenery. Gotta love black!! Allpics were taken with a Nikon D50 on auto (didn't feel like messing with it) and a little tweaking.

Is that your car? Very nice.

Looks like some HDR work going on? Or other post-processing?

Yeah that's my Scooby. He took those pictures after we got owned by the Zaino instructions. Can be applied in sun light....right....

We probably see "A Lot" differently. I spent a few minutes on each picture, which included running it through HDR. I left the HDR setting alone. And quick adjusted the Shadow/Highlights, then a little Contrast, and then added (like you pointed out) some saturation. I wasn't going for a professional look. I was going for more of an interesting, fun look.

Leaving the camera on auto created a little bit of washout with the white. And I only took like 10 shots total, so there wasn't a lot to work with.

The Rebel XTi is nice. It's comparable to what I'm using right now. I would like to get the D70, or the D200 if I save up a little extra money.

I'm looking for the 5D sometime in my future... For now, the XTi is working alright! I wish I had the auto HDR mode though..I still have to rock it the old way...

The 5D is WAY too rich for my blood. I couldn't see myself spending that kind of coin on a camera. I will say though that I really liked the 30D. My brother gets discounts on all the stuff, so when I upgrade, I may end up with a Canon.

Teh STi looks about 10x better than it did when we started. I'll hit it with the Grand Finale in the morning and then we can start on the Evo. BTW I had no idea I was in any of those pics, next thing I know you'll have ones of me picking my nose or digging my butt or something. Gotta be careful. Thanks again for helping me out with car and the pics.

Lol, I only helped a little. I was more of a supervisor. But I was learning too cause I've never detailed a car with Zaino before. I might replace some of my stone-age methods.

Matt has like the next couple days off, so he'll prolly help tomorrow. His car needs it as well.

This is how it should be though. Evo's and STi's hanging together in harmony, lol. No hate, just respect!!
