    Thanksgiving in Paris

My girlfriend and I spent Thanksgiving weekend in Paris. Since we didn't have much time we were running around for 12-13 hrous a day taking everything in. As a result I didn't have much time to really compose my pictures. I think I got a couple good shots though.

Those are great, Brian. I love that shot of Notre Dame.
Haven't been to Paris since 1984. There's a lot of great history to see there.

Thanks guys. I am pretty happy with them. I am going to be taking an 8 week workshop, starting next week, at the New England School of Photography that I am really looking forward to. I may learn a thing or two.

Thanks. I didn't have my tripod with me so all my night shots were by hand.

    Beautiful work, Brian.

OT: What does this eight week photography work shop entail? Cost?

    Peace,

    Thanks Curtis.

I have signed up for Beginning Digital Camera. Once I have completed that workshop I will take Advanced Digital Camera. The course discriptions are below.

The course is 8 weeks/20 hours total for $250. We meet every Monday from 6-8:30.

There are a number of workshops that they offer. Really a great deal. Check them out here: http://www.nesop.com/Workshops/

    [ Beginning Digital Camera ]
Digital photography is an exciting and revolutionary way to create images. The technology that allows us to make and share pictures quickly also presents new ways to use photos. This eight-week course will cover proper exposure, shutter speeds, lenses and apertures, flash and all basic digital camera functions. Differences between taking photos with film cameras and the digital method will be examined. Through weekly lectures, demonstrations and assignments, you'll learn to prepare photos for e-mail, the Internet and printing in photo labs or at home.

Prerequisite: Students must have a digital SLR camera with adjustable exposure settings.

    [ Advanced Digital Camera ]
Advanced Digital Camera is about making extraordinary photographs with the latest technology. Interactive classroom sessions as well as shooting and imaging assignments will lay the groundwork for a deeper understanding of the tools and techniques of digital photography. While this is not strictly a computer course, students will learn many digital processing tricks and techniques and how to apply them toward the ultimate goal of becoming a better photographer. This Workshop builds upon the foundation laid out in Beginning Digital Camera.

Prerequisite: Beginning Digital Camera or a basic understanding of digital cameras and outside access to a computer running Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements software.
