More Christmas gift ideas needed.

My Dad is an architect and uses photography extensively in his practice to illustrate ideas, etc. to clients. He's just recently got into digital photography (he already has three digital cameras though, including a Nikon D70).

He's always shot slides in the past so he can take his projector to client sites and give presentations.

I was thinking that a digital photo viewer would be a good thing for him. One of those little devices with a screen and a hard drive. I figured he could use it as a "projector" plugging in to a TV or digital projector at a client site and show "slide shows" or even just pass it across the table at a lunch meeting for viewing on-screen.

Does anyone have any experience with these things? I was thinking something like the Epson P-3000:
