    trying out new lenses

there's allot of great photographers on this site so i'd really appreciate some constructive criticism

pics were all shot with a rebel xt and either a tamron 28-80 with a warm polarizing filter or a tamron 75-300 1:2 macro

Nothing fancy, some of these were even taken from my car while i was waiting in traffic
Like the title says, just testing out new goodies

NICE i learned how to snowboard at Hoodoo like 8 years ago. my family has a vacation house up at black butte. the first 2 are decent. the rest are just snapshots. the colors and sharpness is pretty good. compositions are a little to much in the center, remember the rule of 3rds and leading lights(lines leading to the subject, could have helped on #4

    thanks for the awesome feedback!

i've read about the rule of thirds and try to use it in most of my shots, but I dont always remember and like you said, most of those were just snapshots
and thanks to you i just read up on leading lights/lines, thanks again!

numbers 3, 4, and 7 were taken while i was sitting in my car in dead stop traffic

so i'm finding that's it's hard to take good moon shots
    anyone have any advice?

or maybe a recommendation on a good sturdy tripod?

or can recommend between a 3d mount and a ball mount tripod
