    Thanks dude. That was handheld at 1/30th and f1.4 in the middle of a parking lot. I did try a higher f-stop but I wasn't able to handhold it that long.

    btw, that lizard you shot looks awesome!!

    alot of focus is on the body rather then the neck\head.

    Very nice! What did you do with it? Again, I posted it up with no post processing. I will take it into Photoshop myself. The camera was set to auto focus as the swan kept moving. I have had the camera for less than a week.

    I used the Curves function aswell and Shadow\Highlight.
    Just some lighting variations.

    I'm still a big n00b, so don't be harsh...I started playing around with HDR a bit over the weekend. Here was the result for 3 shots of my house, 2 EV under, metered, and 2 EV over.

    I have tried those settings in the past and found it is easy to over do it. Need practice.

    I did tweak this one in PS and was happy with the result - any opinions?

    Yeah, I was trying to go a little "over the top" with the clouds, with a little bit of high-pass filtering in PS. I like the effect.
