The second two are HDR exposure fusions. I set the camera to take three consecutive bracket exposures 1ev apart. Then I went through adjusting colors and levels/curves.. and unsharp mask again for the final touch.

sweet, i wish my d60 had bracketing changing settings between shots is annoying, because objects move sometimes

Right.. 85% of the time I don't even need a tripod to take a three exposure fusion because they all fire off so quick

grrrrr!!! with bracketing, does it take the shots at the max fps the camera can take? or does it depend on the exposure lengths needed?

I almost always shoot in aperture priority mode, so it will only fire as fast as the exposure length needed for that particular shot. That means at night I still require a tripod.. because shots like this one will take upwards of 30 second exposures on the bright side of the spectrum.

That's a great shot! In order to do mine, I use manual mode, fix my aperature that i want(usually all the way open), then vary the shutter speed to get the different exposures.

That's the way to do it, except I can stay in aperture priority mode.. My ISO is always manually set on 200 unless I see fit to change it, and honestly, I don't even bother to take the WB off of auto because my camera meters light so well it's always consistent in back to back exposures. The nice thing is that I can set it to take multiple continuous brackets from -3ev to +3ev. It'll take up to 5 exposures if you want, how ever far apart ev wise that you want, and you can set it to vary the exposure by whatever means you select. Of course I vary by shutter speed.

That's how we do things here at PTUNING haha

The spool on our S2000 turbo system is insane. I got to ride in one of our client's cars 2 weeks ago (the one in the video) and it was epic. Soooo loud.
