Downloaded a trial version of CS5 today and I've just been messing around with it for about 20 minutes.

CS5 is the BALLLLLSSSSS. I love it so far. You can use that content aware feature (probably the greatest thing since sliced bread) to fill in the white areas around panoramas. Of course its a complete lie, but hey whos gonna notice? Seriously amazing program. Did you also notice the clone stamp brush has a built in preview to it now? So it shows you what you will be cloning in before you click the mouse.

Its not perfect, but to the untrained eye it works great. Mine has some lines near the edges from the selection, but if you select inside the photo rather than use the magic wand to grab the edges, they wont show up

Have you had CS4 out of curiosity? That's what I'm running and I've been told that the CS5 upgrade isn't really worth it because there's not much added to jump just one version.

I actually was lucky enough to go straight from 3 to 5. I use 3 at home, and at work, but we just got 5 at work. So, naturally I will be doing everything from home here now bwahaha. But yeah, wish I could answer your question, but only used 4 a couple times. If I were you I would go ahead and upgrade regardless!!

Yea, CS5 is ****ing nasty so far. Just spent a few minutes doing another one. That Content-Aware feature is ****ing amazing.
