I'm pretty sure my colleague who teaches plant systematics would not know it off just the picture. It is a Jumellea cormorensis (as in the bird Cormoran). The interesting bit is the long spur - for the very similar but even larger Angraecum Darwin proposed that a moth must have co-evolved with an incredibly long proboscus to access the nectary. The moth was never discovered until many years later after his death.

It is hard to get the scale. IIRC its beak is like 10cm? Maybe a little less.

I heard her saying see ya later daddy. I walked out of the kitchen. She said going to depot (homedepot) to get batteries and tools. We go there alot doing work on the house. I had to post it i thought it was kinda funny.

So is the driver basically wearing scuba gear? No right? Could you have a regulated oxygen feed going through the helmet that wouldn't come out unless the helmet was ripped out (like in a jaw brace maybe)?

I have some cousins I grew up visiting that run crazy boats around Lake Orion and it seems sketch.
