You might need a tripod because the shutter speed will slow significantly, but the graininess should go away. Depending on what camera you have, you also might want to see what your aperature is set at or if it's auto. At night you're going to want it wide open (lower f stops)
    thank you, ive been playing around witht the iso at night and the pictures are ALOT better

    Thanks, I've got a rebel xt with the stock 18-55. props to the gorilla pod too; it needs to have a tripod head on it, but it's awesome to travel with.
