What happened to the black out-line at the bottom of the heart? You can read the music that should have been obscured by it if you erased it??

I'm not sure if I'm going to explain this correctly but the black out line towards the bottom of the heart lost focus. If you put a pencil tip on a paper you see the shadow have a sharp edge where it connects and it will lose some focus and become softer and softer as it gets furture away to a point where you can't really see it anymore. The top of the filter is to high off the book to leave a sharp shadow as well as the paper being bent. Can someone put this into better words for me?
