I got a new camera (canon digital rebel xti) so it was unnecessary picture time today. I haven't learned it all yet (its my first slr) but I really like the camera so far.

thanks man. i'll be taking more pics at first light tomorrow.

    took maybe about an hour.
we had to bake the lights...then I lost a bolt...don't know how, then after we assembled it all, we had to take it all the way back out because the side marker lights were outta place.

we raced to see who could get there side assembled first and I got my ass kicked!

    Nice Car and Camera.

I just picked up the XTi myself about 1 month ago. I have plenty of pictures but no time to download and post because I suck at Technology.

Any plans for lenses or did you already pick some up?

I just have the kit lense at the moment. I want to get one of the canon image stabilizer lenses, the 17-85mm and then probably something for longer distance, for when I go to races and what not. I need to do more research they are pretty expensive so it'll probably be a little while.

Look into the Sigma 18-200 with Optical Stabilization OS (Sigma's IS) Their OS system works just as good for the price. I will pick that up as my everyday lens. 460 dollars is not too bad.

I know canon has the new 55-250 with IS but I have heard mixed reviews on that lens. it cost 299 but I may have to rent that out.

You MUST get the 50mm 1.8, this thing cost 83 dollars and gives you amazing photos.
